Lisa Purrone is an actor, writer, producer, and educator born and raised in NYC. Lisa has a deep love for new works, collaboration, and play. She enjoys being in a room, working on a fresh new play. She has worked on various new works at Ensemble Studio Theater, INTAR, New Dramatists, and Columbia University. She has performed at Rattlestick Playwrights Theater, The CRY HAVOC Company, the MCC Theater Youth Company, and in NYC Parks in all 5 boroughs.

Lisa is expected to receive her MFA in Acting from CUNY Brooklyn College in May 2026. She is an alum of Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School, Ithaca College, the MCC Theater Youth Company, The CRY HAVOC Company Apprenticeship, was a founding member of Middle Voice at Rattlestick, and has studied at The Freeman Studio.
